Built For Radiologists and Cardiologists
Providing workstation experience to complete the required 100 library cases for RANZCR Level A accreditation and up to 150 cases for Level 2 British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging / British Society for Cardiovascular CT (BSCI/BSCCT), this is a unique opportunity to learn from international experts, led by Dr Azhar Khokhar, Head of Cardiology/Head of Cardiac Imaging at Southend University Hospital/Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, UK, in the stunning location of Bali, Indonesia.

Using the latest cardiac CT post‑processing software from HE Healthcare, participants will work through a minimum of 100 cases (3 day course) or 150 cases (5day course) in a structured tutorial environment. The case set spans the full spectrum of cardiac CT pathology, from routine presentations to the most complex and challenging scenarios.

Each specialist seeking recognition as a CTCA Specialist must provide evidence of one of the following prerequisite pathways. Please ensure you review the latest requirements from the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography (CCRTCTCA) before registering, to confirm this course aligns with your eligibility.
Radiologists
Must provide either:
Evidence of Fellowship of RANZCR; OR
Evidence of Educational Affiliate Membership, plus specialist medical registration and/or vocational scope of practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Cardiologists
Must provide:
Evidence of Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP); AND
Evidence of Ordinary Membership or Fellowship of CSANZ, OR proof of completion of Cardiology Training from RACP / CSANZ.
Nuclear Medicine Physicians
Must provide either:
A copy of their Medicare / HIC letter recognising them as a consultant physician in nuclear medicine or a “confirmation of status” letter; OR
A copy of their credentialing or re‑credentialing letter for nuclear medicine issued by the Joint Nuclear Medicine Credentialing & Accreditation Committee (JNMCAC) of the RACP and RANZCR.

To join this course-based route for BSCI/BSCCT Level 2 Cardiac CT accreditation, you generally do not need prior hands-on case experience, but you must meet professional eligibility criteria and often complete preparatory e-learning.
Professional Status
Job role: You must typically be a Consultant, Specialty Trainee (Specialist Registrar), or Specialty Doctor at an equivalent level in Radiology, Cardiology, or Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dr Azhar Khokhar is the Head of Cardiology/Head of Cardiac Imaging at Southend University Hospital/Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, UK, recognised for his leadership in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred cardiovascular care. With extensive experience across acute, interventional and diagnostic cardiology, he oversees service development, clinical governance and the integration of advanced cardiac imaging into everyday practice.
With extensive experience as a Level 3 Cardiac CT Educator and Practitioner (equivalent to Level B RANZCR), Dr Khokhar has supported thousands of doctors worldwide in completing their CTCA accreditation, shaping the next generation of cardiac imaging specialists across multiple the UK, Europe, Asia and the Australia/New Zealand region.
