CHESTRAD 2026 Highlights
🌏 Reflecting on our first International Radiology Course in Singapore
Over the weekend of 28 Feb-1st March 2026, we proudly hosted our first chest radiology course in Singapore, marking a milestone in advancing thoracic imaging education. Over two days, participants immersed themselves in essential updates on chest imaging, exploring a wide range of cases from lung cancer and esophageal cancer to lung infections, interstitial lung disease, and lung screening.
👨⚕️ Led by Dr. Jeffrey P. Kanne
The course was delivered by Dr. Jeffrey P. Kanne, Professor of Radiology and Chief of Thoracic Imaging at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Kanne brought his internationally recognized expertise in thoracic radiology, sharing insights into interstitial and diffuse lung diseases, lung infections, and occupational lung conditions. His case-based teaching style enriched the sessions, making complex diagnostic challenges both accessible and engaging.
📚 A Weekend of Learning and Discovery
Across the two days, attendees deepened their knowledge of interstitial lung disease, thoracic oncology, infections, airway disorders, and miscellaneous chest conditions. The program combined lectures with interactive case reviews, allowing participants to sharpen their diagnostic reasoning and apply new techniques in real-world scenarios.
